2019 BMW X7: A World Of Possibilities

Published on April 30 2019

The all-new 2019 BMW X7 is BMW’s largest vehicle to date. Designers created an SUV that captivates the eye with its elegance and authority. It comes in two luxury trims, the xDrive40i and xDrive50i. The primary differences between the two are horsepower and price, with a turbo inline six cylinder powering the xDrive40i and a turbo V8 powering the xDrive50i.

BMW took every opportunity to complement X7‘s extended lines with proper exterior features. The retro kidney grille looks like a larger version of what was on early BMWs. The advanced LED headlights project nearly twice the range of conventional headlights, keeping drivers safer.

The M Sport Package has subdued exterior features such as black chrome and standard alloy wheels, whereas the Design Pure Excellence package has brilliant accents including high-gloss chrome and high-spoke 22” wheels. Both wheel sets house high-performance tyres that are ready for any Canadian weather.

Plenty of Power and Performance for the 2019 BMW X7

As you would expect, this SUV has power. The two engine options—a turbo six or turbo V8—give owners a choice of saving a little more at the pump or having a bigger push on the road. The turbo six-cylinder engine produces 335 horsepower with 332 lb-ft of torque while consuming 9.4 L/100km on the highway and 12 L/100km in the city.

The turbo V8 boasts 456 horsepower with 479 lb-ft of torque and consumes 10.6 L/100km on the highway and 14.3 L/100km in the city. The 8-speed transmission can send power to either wheels depending on the driving mode selected. Although the BMW X7 is a luxury vehicle, it has excellent off-road potential with its double-axle suspension.

A Different World Inside the 2019 BMW X7

The seven-seat interior features luxurious accents including the CraftedClarity glass application along the console and high-quality Merino leather trim throughout the cabin. While you sit in comfort, you’ll look up and enjoy the Panorama glass roof Sky Lounge that offers six colours of Ambient light in the dark.

Advanced technologies such as the BMW Personal CoPilot and its driver assist systems keep you safe. The gesture-controlled infotainment system keeps itself current with remote software updates. BMW Live Cockpit Professional has a brilliant 12.3” instrument display to keep important information in visual range. The xDrive50i comes standard with a heads-up display that also keeps your eyes on the road.

The 2019 BMW X7 is a luxury SUV that is far ahead of the competition. The team at ELITE BMW is pleased to share with you our expertise and models for you to test drive today.
